The first Eltham Methodists
Methodism first came to Eltham in the mid-19th century, when it was still a village outside London. Sergeant William Rudd, a serving soldier in the Royal Artillery stationed at Woolwich, preached in the local area.

Funerals at Eltham Park
The church can be booked on any day for these services following consultation with the minister who can also advise regarding interment or cremation, which, of course, take place elsewhere.
A small reception can also be booked, depending on the day; but the strict no-alcohol policy applies.
